Some countries like Iraq, Egypt, Eritrea or Sudan are still practising capital punishment by hanging. The decision of life or death is frequently based on the arbitrariness of state leaders.
The international print campaign "Hangman" by IGFM (ISHR) aims to raise awareness of these grievances with striking posters at major airports. According to the principle of the popular game "Hangman", the campaign makes it clear how easy it can be to help. Each observer will be challenged to finish the Hangman game before it is finally too late – by donating $, €, £ or ¥ via text message.
