How can we fight against abuses of governments and multinational corporations if we accept their money? For the first time, Amnesty International France claims one of its main characteristics: its financial independence towards governments and multinational corporations.
In this film, Amnesty International reveals how money can be misused to hide terrible things and allow the perpetuation of violations of human rights such as torture, pollution, the use of child soldiers... By refusing money, Amnesty International stands for its independence and at the same time justifies the call for donations from people without which no action would be possible.
