What if we can gift our clients and prospective clients something that gives them a moment of joy amongst the mayhem at Christmas ?If we could create something that celebrated an individual's social connections, we knew we'd be onto something good. However data, in it's raw form can be hard to appreciate, so the challenge was to create something that tangibly brought those digital connections to life. Using a 3D printer was an obvious choice; we'd be able to mass produce a high quality at an affordable price, creating a personalized gift for our entire audience. The Christmas Bauble did a fantastic job of showcasing our creative and innovative credentials but also caused a buzz online as well. The websites PFSK, Little Black Book and Mashable ran articles at the same time, as well as Creative Review who picked up on the news and sited the work as one of the first examples to transform an individuals social network data into a 3D printed object
